Forward in Faith
Strategic Plan 2026-2030
At AACC we look forward in faith to the future to which we believe God is calling us. We are committed to seeing the growth of God’s Kingdom and to play our part in this.
Our Strategic Plan is a culmination of much prayer and discussion as we have discerned together, across all levels of leadership, what we understand to be the core pillars that will help us frame our mission and ministry as a church over the next few years.
We invite you to join with us on this journey to discover together the future that God has for us here at AACC.
You can view the full version of the plan here or contact the Church Office for a printed copy. The five Strategic Pillars are listed below:
-
Conduct a feasibility study on buying a new property and determine resources required to support growth to 600 regular attendees
Identify and implement practical steps to enhance the hospitality, accessibility and functionality of our current site
Pioneer three or more new ministries that serve the local community and bear lasting Kingdom fruit
-
Participate together in a church-wide Bible Reading Plan, supported by regular days of fasting and prayer
Develop and launch a discipleship pathway that strengthens the spiritual maturity of leaders and the wider congregation
Initiate creative discipling opportunities within homes, workplaces and neighbourhoods, equipping believers to live counter-culturally in an increasingly secular society
-
Embed global missions at the heart of AACC by raising awareness, passion and participation across all generations
Create clear pathways for individuals from AACC to explore cross-cultural ministry and mission opportunities
Identify and release ministries among targeted Unreached People Groups (UPGs)
-
Proactively build relationships with inter-church and para-church networks to strengthen unity, collaboration and Christian witness
Release a team to design and implement a strategy for an active, engaging and mission-driven digital presence that increases our reach across Adelaide
Develop and mobilise advocates to actively influence 3–4 key areas of social justice through meaningful engagement with local community and government
-
Establish a 6-month internship for aspiring leaders, incorporating biblical formation, practical ministry training and supervised service opportunities
Teach and cultivate multiplying Paul-Timothy mentoring relationships that strengthen AACC’s leadership culture and support succession planning
Design and implement a multistream leadership pathway in ministry, missions, and church planting, releasing at least ten emerging leaders by 2030
