English Classes

(At aacc)

At the Austral-Asian Community Church, our vision includes holistic transformation of life. A practical way of accomplishing this is through helping new migrants and refugees learn English.

Learning the English language to practically function, is one way refugees can feel ‘safe’ begin to feel that they ‘belong’ and adapt to Australia and the Aussie culture.

Classes focus on the development of conversational English, and help migrants find paid employment. Teachers of the class regularly help the students to correctly write their resumes and cover letters, and of course celebrate when someone finds some work.
